Inspiration
Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at 3:58PM Books, schools, television, internet and family. All ways to learn to cook, in fact you can't turn on the TV without seeing some celebrity chef or a cooking game show. Finding something that makes you a better chef is very important. There are too many "instant" meals available today, none of which are very good. Being able to cook a quick, cheap and healthy meal are vital. My wife and I have always been interested in cooking, both of our parents are incredible cooks, each with their own sets of skills that we have acquired.
Lately, I have become a huge fan of "Good Eats" on The Food Network, hosted by Alton Brown. I've found his approach to cooking very interesting. His recipes and technique are more about the science of cooking than any other TV Chef.
His recipes are incredibly good, fast and intelligent. Throughout this blog you'll notice some of his recipes, I hope you take a minute and try some of them out as I know you'll be as impressed with "Good Eats" as I am.
